The Ultimaker Factor 4 on our Factory Floor
Our UltiMaker Factor 4 has landed in our showroom and we are putting it through its paces across a wide range of materials. The UltiMaker Factor 4 not only builds on UltiMaker's existing ecosystem, but improves on the functionality of the S-series to take these machine to the next level of reliability for your factory floor. In addition to being able to print softer materials, the Factor 4 can print higher temperature materials than any previous Ultimaker machine, with a printing temperature of up to 340º C with the new HT Print Core.Â
Introducing the Drywise
 This spring, my team and I had the pleasure to see the Drywise active filament dryer, from Thought3D, in use in person at RAPID TCT. I have to say, Thought3D, the longtime makers of the Magigoo line specialty filament adhesives, have outdone themselves. The Drywise active filament dryer is the perfect add-on for getting the best results in printing nylon, TPU, and other hygroscopic materials. We received our first shipment of Drywise machines and we are excited to share our own firsthand print findings with you. The Drywise comes in both 1.75 and 2.85 versions to be compatible with a wide range of machines. The Drywise also has a heated prefeeder add-on for use with glass fiber, carbon fiber, and other abrasive materials.
