Metal Filaments

These materials are abrasive and should be printed with the Ruby Olsson on UM2+ series machines, or the CC .4 and CC .6 Print Cores on the S-Series machines or Factor 4.

BASF Ultrafuse 17-4PH

  • Metal-polymer composite filament to produce metal components in a stainless-steel type 17-4PH with subsequently an industry-standard debinding and sintering process.
  • Printing profiles have been developed to provide quality, flexibility, and reliability for the wide range of parts and applications made possible with Ultrafuse 17-4PH. The profile is available in the UltiMaker Marketplace to sync to UltiMaker Cura and your UltiMaker S-Series printer.

Kimya ABS EC Black

  • Contains electrically active additives in the form of carbon nanotubes
  • Resistant to impact, heat, and aging, and is widely used in the automotive and electronics industries.
  • Complies with REACH Standard.
  • Profiles available on the UltiMaker Marketplace to sync to UltiMaker Cura and your UltiMaker S-Series printer.

Proto-Pasta's Conductive PLA

  • Volume resistivity of 3D printed parts perpendicular to layers: 30 ohm-cm
  • Volume resistivity of 3D printed parts through layers (along Z axis): 115 ohm-cm
  • Profiles available on the UltiMaker Marketplace to sync to UltiMaker Cura and your UltiMaker 3 series or UltiMaker S-Series printer.

    Proto-Pasta's Ferromagnetic Iron-infused PLA

    • This filament contains powdered iron, so that it has a rough cast metal appearance when printed, but can be rusted to give an aged appearance. It also responds to magnets (neodymium recommended).
    • Prints with normal-to-cool PLA settings (190-210ºC). A heated bed is not required but can be used at 50ºC.
    • Profiles available on the UltiMaker Marketplace to sync to UltiMaker Cura and Your UltiMaker 3 series or UltiMaker S-Series printer.
