xTool M2 Color Craft Laser Cutter and Engraver (10W or 20W)

The xTool M2 is an enclosed desktop laser cutter and engraver for crafters, hobby sellers, and small studios that want production-ready results without a workshop. Choose the 10W module for the finest detail or the 20W module for thicker single-pass cuts. Either standalone package includes the M2 machine, the laser module you select, and the accessories needed to start working.

Choose Your Laser Module

• 10W blue diode laser: a 0.04 × 0.06 mm spot for fine lettering and intricate shapes; cuts 8 mm basswood and 3 mm black acrylic in one pass.
• 20W blue diode laser: a 0.06 × 0.08 mm spot with more cutting power; cuts 10 mm basswood and 8 mm black acrylic in one pass.

Shared Platform and Working Area

• Working area: 426 × 320 mm (16.7 in. × 12.5 in.) on both modules, large enough for signs and multi-piece sheets.
• Speed and accuracy: up to 600 mm/s with 0.01 mm motion accuracy.
• Materials: cuts wood, opaque acrylic, paper, cardstock, cardboard, MDF, leather, felt, and foam, and engraves stainless steel, aluminum, plated metal, glass, ceramic, cork, rubber, and plastic. Never cut PVC or unidentified vinyl.

Camera Positioning and Autofocus

A 5MP panoramic camera and a 2MP close-range camera preview the entire bed and place artwork within 0.2 mm, so designs land where they look like they will. Autofocus and 0.1 mm probe ranging set the height on their own, and the ACS™ workflow detects material, aligns the design, and applies settings without test cuts.

Safe and Simple to Run

The M2 carries Class 1 laser safety certification from TÜV SÜD, with an eye-protecting cover, lid-open stop, tilt detection, and AI troubleshooting, which makes it comfortable to run at home around pets and children. The built-in air assist pump keeps cuts clean without a separate compressor, and the machine arrives pre-assembled.

Software and Room to Grow

xTool Studio handles design and control over USB or Wi-Fi, with guided tutorials, AI generation tools, customizable templates, and one-click Material EasySet™ parameters. Files open in SVG, DXF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, and BMP. Later, add the 3W infrared module for metal marking, the CMYK inkjet module for full-color printing, or the RA3 Lite rotary for cylinders up to 100 mm.
