Product details
Features & specifications
Bambu Lab PPS-CF is a 1.75mm carbon fiber reinforced PPS filament for demanding industrial applications. It has a heat deflection temperature of up to 264°C, a UL-94 V-0 flame retardant rating, and outstanding solvent and chemical resistance. It is for X1E and H2 Series printers only.
Highlights
- Ultra-high heat resistance. A heat deflection temperature of up to 264°C at 0.45 MPa, with continuous operation above 200°C.
- Top-tier flame retardancy. A UL-94 V-0 rating for electronics and automotive components.
- Peerless mechanical properties. 7160 MPa stiffness and 142 MPa bending strength, with excellent dimensional stability and low warping.
- Solvent and chemical resistance. Second only to PTFE, and virtually insoluble in any solvent below 200°C.
- Ultra-low water absorption. Only 0.05% moisture absorption, so properties stay stable in humid conditions.

Printing and Care
- Print hot. Use a nozzle temperature of 310 to 340°C and a chamber temperature of 60 to 90°C. Higher values within these ranges improve the mechanical properties of printed parts, especially in the Z direction.
- Must be dried. Higher temperatures within the drying range work better, but do not exceed 160°C to avoid damaging the spool.
- Store it airtight. Use an airtight container with desiccant during printing so the filament does not absorb moisture.
- Wear gloves. Carbon fiber filament can produce fine fiber debris, and the filament surface and ends may carry hard microscopic splinters. Wear puncture- and cut-resistant gloves and safety goggles when loading filament, removing supports, cutting, or sanding, and avoid touching rough edges and cross-sections with bare hands.
- Print safely. Use a well-ventilated area, and keep filament and fragments away from children and pets. This filament is not food-grade, so do not use finished prints for food storage or contact.
