Features & specifications
Bambu Lab PETG Matte is a 1.75mm PETG filament that prints like PLA and lasts like PETG. A soft, low-gloss finish helps hide layer lines and gives every print a refined, premium feel, while the durability PETG is known for holds up to heat, humidity, weight, and weather. It works with every Bambu Lab printer, build plate, nozzle, and the full AMS series.
Highlights
- Soft matte finish. Say goodbye to plastic shine. The low-gloss surface hides layer lines for decor and functional prints that look finished straight off the plate.
- Prints like PLA. A reworked formula reduces the stringing, blobs, and clogs often associated with PETG, for crisp details, clean bridges, and smooth overhangs, even on long prints.
- Less fuss about humidity. Improved resistance to ambient moisture means a spool taken off the shelf still prints the way it should (drying is still needed after more than 72 hours above 50% humidity).
- Supports that come off. Same-material supports peel away by hand, even on steep overhangs and deep holes, leaving a smooth, clean surface. No extra support material needed.

Printing and Care
- Dry when needed. Dry the filament before printing if it has been exposed to humidity above 50% RH for more than 72 hours.
- Store it dry. PETG absorbs moisture readily, so keep unused filament in a sealed container with desiccant, in a cool, dark place away from sunlight and heat.
- Let the plate cool. PETG Matte adheres strongly to PEI build plates. Let the plate cool fully before removing a print to protect both the plate and the bottom of the part.
- Supports for PLA. PETG Matte is not recommended as a support material for PLA. For multi-material supports, use Bambu Lab PETG Basic.
- Print safely. Use a well-ventilated area or an air filtration system, and keep filament and fragments away from children and pets. This filament is not food-grade, so do not use finished prints for food storage or contact.
