The MICRON3D green stereo uses 500 nm green LED light which, together with the filter used, reduces the impact of lighting changes on measurements. This allows it to capture up to 30% better results when compared to 3D scanners using white light measurement. In addition, this scanner incorporates two monochrome detectors, which allow much more accurate reproduction of the structure’s surface, and fast scan times. Choice of Resolutions and ViEWS

The Micron3D Green Stereo scanner is avaliable in 3 resolutions, each with 3 fields of view.  This positional accuracy of the scanned points depends on the field of view, with more concentrated scan volumes giving more accurate results - as good as 18 microns (approximately 0.0007"), and the resolution and scan volume combining to determine the number of points captured per mm2.
