Product details
Features & specifications
Bambu Lab PA6-GF is a 1.75mm glass fiber reinforced nylon (PA6) filament for prints that must withstand heavy use and resist bending or breaking. The glass fiber gives outstanding dimensional stability with less warping than standard PA filaments, and it keeps its mechanical properties at high temperatures. It works with the AMS 2 Pro, AMS HT, and AMS.
Highlights
- Built to last. Reinforced glass fibers make prints strong and durable, and printed parts gain toughness after exposure to moisture.
- Dimensional stability. Minimal warping compared with standard PA, even on intricate geometries.
- Exceptional thermal properties. A high heat deflection temperature for industrial and automotive applications.
- Chemical resistance. Excellent resistance to chemicals, oils, and many solvents.
- Smooth surface. A special surface texture blurs layer lines, and the filament is ready for multicolor printing in the AMS.

Printing and Care
- Dry thoroughly. This filament absorbs moisture readily. Keep unused filament in a sealed container with desiccant right away, and dry it thoroughly before printing.
- Prevent warping. Avoid large, high-infill-density models. Use an enclosed printer and glue the build plate for better adhesion.
- Remove supports early. Take supports off within 2 hours of printing so they do not stick after absorbing moisture. If they stick, dry the model to ease removal.
- Anneal if needed. Placing the print in a convection oven at 80 to 130°C for 5 to 12 hours can further improve strength and rigidity. Results depend on the model, and some models may warp or deform.
- Print safely. Use a well-ventilated area, and keep filament and fragments away from children and pets. This filament is not food-grade, so do not use finished prints for food storage or contact.
