1. Can the Rigil be used outdoors?
Yes. The Rigil is designed for flexible use, including outdoor scanning environments.
2. Can the Rigil capture color as well as shape?
Yes. It captures both detailed geometry and full-color texture data.
3. Do I need a computer to scan?
The Rigil scanner can be used as a standalone device. For extra computing power you can sync to a windows PC either wirelessly or with a wired connection. If using with a PC the recommend configurations are:
- Processor: 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-13700H or above
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU or above
- VRAM: 8 GB or above
- RAM: 64 GB or above, DDR5 dual-channel
- Interface: USB 3.0

4. What file formats does it produce?
It produces STL, OBJ, PLY, 3MF, and ASC files.
5. What's in the box?
The Einscan Rigil comes with the scanner itself, a carrying case, rechargeable batteries, a battery compartment and charging cable, calibration board, universal holder, power adapter, USB C to USB C cable, a screen protector, cleaning cloth, 3mm and 6mm reflective markers, and a marker removal tool
