Nozzle cover bracket set (x2)

This pack contains two nozzle cover bracket assemblies for Factor 4. The assembly consists of the front bracket with a pre-installed silicone nozzle cover, and a Hot Surface warning sticker.

This bracket closes off the bottom of the print head to (in combination with the nozzle cover) shield the print cores from airflow. It also activates the sensor to let the printer know that the bracket is closed.

Open the bracket to load, unload, or change print cores, or for certain maintenance processes, but always make sure to close the bracket again immediately after.

Note: The firmware checks if the bracket opens during printing to limit the impact of potential print head floods, but will not check if the bracket is open during certain other processes. Never start maintenance or calibration processes while the nozzle cover bracket is open to prevent damage.

Tip: The silicone nozzle cover can also be replaced individually from the bracket, but in this pack they are also conveniently included.
